Supporting small and medium-size congregations and other organizations, I offer start-to-finish services for recording, editing, and posting your online worship services or other group gatherings. Many congregations/organizations have found that pre-recording is safer, easier, more enriching, and better quality than live-streaming.
Larger congregations/organizations usually have more funds available for things like costly recording equipment, professional videographers, and expensive video editing. Small and medium ones – not so much. Planning for a sustainably affordable, efficient, easier way to record services or other gatherings online can take a load off the minds of everyone involved.
Here is how worship can work – it can be tweaked in any number of ways. (This is a description of the process for worship but is easily modified for your non-religious organization):
- We meet on a Zoom call at a time that works for your clergy, readers, and other participants. You and your folks participate in worship while I record the service. Depending on your format, this can be done in as quickly as thirty minutes. (You also have the cheaper option of recording your own Zoom service and just sending me the file to edit for you).
- If the recorded service is “bare bones” with just the spoken word, you may wish to add hymns or other music, sermon, or some other additional aspect of worship.
- If you need music but don’t have someone to play or sing, I can pre-record your hymns or other music and edit them into the service. Lots of examples of this on our YouTube channel (that’s me at the organ 🙂
- Once I have all the recordings from you, I edit everything together into a seamless worship service that I then professionally render into an HD video. You have the option of adding onscreen hymn texts, readings, or prayers so that people can read along. Keep in mind that if there are glitches or poor visual quality in the Zoom meeting, as is sometimes the case, I do the best I can to work around them and preserve the quality of the final video.
- I can either directly upload the finished video to YouTube and/or Facebook, or I can send it to you to use as you like. If the video is uploaded as “premiere” it can be scheduled to become public at your regular worship time, or whenever you want it to appear. This allows viewers to comment and interact during the broadcast, which allows for real-time prayer requests and fellowship.

$80 – THE ABOVE PLUS UP TO THREE MUSICAL SELECTIONS OR HYMNS PROVIDED BY YOU AND/OR SERMON RECORDING PROVIDED BY YOU, ALL EDITED INTO THE SERVICE. ONSCREEN HYMN TEXTS INCLUDED
$75 – BASIC ZOOM MEETING THAT I ATTEND AND RECORD “AS IS”, EDITED INTO VIDEO
$100 – ZOOM MEETING THAT I RECORD AND EDIT TO INCLUDE PRE-RECORDED MUSICAL SELECTIONS OR HYMNS (PROVIDED BY YOU) AND SERMON IF DESIRED.
$150 – I RECORD ZOOM MEETING AND PROVIDE MUSICAL SELECTIONS AND/OR HYMNS (PRE-RECORDED BY ME) WITH ONSCREEN TEXTS OF HYMNS, READINGS, PRAYERS, AND CREED. YOU PROVIDE SERMON IF DESIRED.
ALL PACKAGES INCLUDE: OPENING AND CLOSING TITLES, NAMES OF PARTICIPANTS, YOUR LOGO, PHOTO, OR OTHER IMAGES (UP TO 5) OF YOUR CHOOSING.
IN ADDITION TO DOING WORSHIP, I CAN ALSO TAKE YOUR MUSICAL RECORDINGS AND CREATE INDIVIDUAL VIDEOS THAT CAN BE USED IN SPECIAL GATHERINGS – VIRTUAL CHRISTMAS PAGEANT, LESSONS AND CAROLS, RECITAL, VIRTUAL FAMILY GATHERINGS, BIRTHDAY GREETINGS VIDEO. CONTACT ME FOR PRICING.
